this is amazing. a friend and I have JUST joined SCA and we're completely lost trying to figure out what to do for garb. >.<

one thing i like about the SCA is that it is not as rigid in being completely acurate as other re-enactment groups.....so you have a bit more free reign when it comes to garb...

my persona is a scotsman that is captured by vikings as becomes a trader and craftsman with them on journeys as far as constantinople...think about the range of clothing in that one!!!!! and all historically ok as the viking did travel from Ireland to the middle east via the rivers and seas
